She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Flower and Joan Flower (Wilkinson); her husband Ron; her stepfather John Godfrey; her parents-in-law, William and Lucinda Carrel (Newell); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Kadlec (Alvin) and Beverly Philippi (Clair).
She is survived by: her sons, Ben Carrel of Beatrice and Jeff Carrel (Amber) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Ginni (Marcus), Max (Abby) and Nolan; her great grandchild Graysen; her sister Marci Knispel (Jerry) of Fairbury; and her brother-in-law John Carrel (Sue) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice With (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310).
