He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chace and Mary Lo Chace (Hammond); his brothers, Jim, Gene and David; his father-in-law Harold; and his brother-in-law Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hansen; his children, Chris Chace (Rozzy) of Beatrice, NE, Mary Hammond (Ryan) of Indianola, NE and Sarah Pfeiffer (Cody) of Adams, NE; his grandchildren, Skyler Black, Edynne, Mason Chace, Gavin, Braxten, Gage, Brody, Rilynn, Ryker, Ainsley, Emory Hammond, Reagan and Brinley Pfeiffer; his sisters, Rosemary Bliss (Quentin) of Omaha, Charlotte Chace (Linda) of Lincoln and Fran O'Leary (Tim) of Lincoln; and his sister-in-law Betty Roberts (John). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
