He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Fakler and Delma Fakler (Seat); his wife Karen Skeels; his siblings, Karen Sue Fakler, Iva Jean Scheele and Lyle Fakler (Donna Jean); his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Lydia Mooberry Skeels; and his brothers-in-law, Don Nelson, Kenneth Skeels (Rosie) and Kenton Skeels.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Fakler (Thuy) of Springfield, VA, Kelly Alderson (Jerry) of Sedgwick, KS, Jeannie Shawn and Michael Fakler (Jodi) of Beatrice; and his siblings, Joe Fakler (Ruth) of Concordia, KS and Shirley Nelson of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at Fox Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until 8:00 P.M. A memorial has been established to the Parkinson's Foundation.
