Ruth Thimm Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Thimm of Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie H. Esau and Elizabeth Esau (Penner); and her husband John R. Thimm. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Thimm (Kathy) of Beatrice, Bill Thimm (Barb) of Beatrice and John R. Thimm Jr. (Lori) of Beatrice; her grandchildren, Lisa Thimm (Nick Enz), Kristine Louie (Henry), Brad Thimm (Amanda), Brian Thimm (Jaime), Steph Rheem (Joe) and Kari Cox (Beau); and her brother Louie Esau of Beatrice. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic conditions, wearing masks and proper social distancing will be followed during all public events.

A memorial has been established to the Beatrice Community Hospital Foundation and the MCC with John Penner in charge.
