She was predeceased by: her parents, William Auxier and Evelyn Auxier (Gruber); and her parents-in-law, Arthur and Alverta Wells. She is survived by: her husband Greg Wells of Beatrice; her daughter April Barnes (Paul) of Lincoln; her brother David Auxier (Mary) of Dawson; her siblings-in-law, Mark Wells (Deb) of Plymouth and Pamela Hoge of Plymouth; and her pet Clara. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home (1116 N 19th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Community Church (2727 Lincoln St, Beatrice, NE 68310).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.
