In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Thomas leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Brubaker and Mildred Brubaker (Mason) of Holmesville; and his brother Steven Brubaker. He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Brubaker (Schultz); and his children, Ben Brubaker (Valerie) of Hershey, PA, Pete Brubaker (Sara) of McPherson, KS, Marcia McCabe of Beatrice and Rebecca Simons (William) of Beatrice. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel (708 N 6th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A prayer will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Church of the Brethren (30748 S 66 Rd, Holmesville, NE 68310). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the Brethren Cemetery with the funeral home in charge.
