He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Brubaker and Mildred Brubaker (Mason) of Holmesville; and his brother Steven Brubaker. He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Brubaker (Schultz); and his children, Ben Brubaker (Valerie) of Hershey, PA, Pete Brubaker (Sara) of McPherson, KS, Marcia McCabe of Beatrice and Rebecca Simons (William) of Beatrice. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

A memorial has been established to the Brethren Cemetery with the funeral home in charge.
