She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas H. Chesshir; her parents, Ditman V. Hawkins and Mary Kneezle Hawkins; her sister Linda K. Huckabee; her son-in-law Kevin S. Dirickson; and her brother-in-law Wendell P. Chesshir.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Dirickson of Texarkana, AR and Chrissy Tucker (Alvin) of Cambridge, NE; her brother Gary D. Hawkins (Peggy) of Lena, MS; her siblings-in-law, Mena Chesshir and Don Huckabee of Huntsville, AL; her granddaughters, Erin Walker (David) of Hooks, TX, Alyssa Tucker of Canton, OH, Alexis Tucker of Iowa City, IA and Scotland Tucker of Cambridge, NE; and her great grandchildren, Trent and Kynleigh Walker of Hooks, TX. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Bayou Church of Christ (147 Blue Bayou Rd W, Nashville, AR 71852).
