He is survived by : his wife Nancy Reil; his children, Wendell (Teresa Roth) of Beaver Crossing, Matthew (Jennifer Roth) and Sally (Andy Schweitzer) of Milford; his grandchildren, Samantha Mooney (Keith), Linsey Keseman (Andrew), Kristian Banzhaf (Taten), Shelby Snodgrass (Clayton), Bailey Roth, Alyssa Roth (Austin), Logan Roth (Morgan), Madison Roth, Jake Schweitzer (Emily), Haley Schweitzer (Zane) and Jenna Schweitzer; his siblings, Janice Oswald of Milford, Ila Kremer (Larry) of Congress, AZ, Carolyn Miller of Goshen, IN, Sharon Lehman (Roger) of Washington Boro, PA., Lonnie Roth of Milford, Joseph Roth of Milford and Leonard Roth of Milford; and his siblings-in-law, Cloy Roth of Grand Island, Doris Kremer (Clyde) of Canon City, CO, Carol Yeackley of Milford, Judy Roth (Jerrel) of Milford, Connie Stauffer (Bill) of Colorado Springs, CO, Vickie Schweitzer (Larry) and Wes Reil (Deb) of Pleasant Dale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Milford Mennonite Church (920 3rd St, Milford, NE 68405). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Milford Mennonite Cemetery (2585 Pioneers Rd, Milford, NE 68405).
