It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bissell of Beemer, Nebraska, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Bissell; and her siblings, Mary Robertson, Lola Wright, Harry Sharp, Norman Sharp, Edward Sharp, Jean Webster and John Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Lee (Janet Bissell), Lewis (Conni Bissell), Linda (Tom Hickerson), Laurie (Lou Roosma), Lisa (Bob Paulson), Larry Bissell, Lavonne Bissell (Lou Urrutia) and Lafe (Rebecca Bissell). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Heubach Chapel, Walla Walla University Church (212 SW 4th St, College Place, WA 99324).
