He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schultz and Agatha Schultz; his brother Herman; his former wife Ida Armbruster Schulz; his daughter Sandra Schulz; his stepson Paul Bartos; and his stepgrandson Justin Bartos.

He is survived by: his wife Jill; his son Michael Schulz (Lisa); his grandson Nathan (Janell); his great grandchild Levi; his son Aaron; his stepson Mark Bartos; his stepgrandchildren, Alexander, Luke and Francesca; his daughter-in-law Betty Bartos; his granddaughter-in-law Jessica Good (Brian); Austin and Coen.
