We announce the death of Bruce Edwin Ford (Bellevue, Nebraska), who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Bruce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Ford (Allen); his parents, Arthur Ford and Nora Ford; and his siblings, Helen Davis (Ford), Nona Ruth Wharton (Ford), Evelyn Faye Glover (Ford) and Morris Wesley Ford.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ford (Caroline) and Lisa Butterbaugh (Steve); his brother Kenneth Ray Ford; his grandchildren, Parker, Samantha, Trevor, Jonathan, Sarah and Claire; and his great grandchild Vincent.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the John A. Gentleman Mortuary (3402 Samson Way, Bellevue, NE 68123). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68117).
