She was predeceased by : her parents, Gaston and Marie Parsy; her husband John David Rush; and her brother Albert Parsy. She is survived by : her children, Stephen Ludwig, Christopher Ludwig, John Rush, George Rush, Sameta Rush, Gerald Rush and Anne Thompson; and her sister Marie Louise Minakian. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.

Cecile was well known for her cooking, courage, charity, and quick wit.
