He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. and Mary A. Bird (Verrey); and his siblings, Marie Bird Gundlach, Elizabeth Bird Demo (Randy) and John Bird.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Bird of Charlotte, N. C., Jane E. Bird of Bellevue and Jean M. Murray (Edward) of Portland, Oregon.; and his grandson Robert C. Park (Whitney) of St. George, Utah..
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bellevue Memorial (2202 Hancock St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
