She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Novak and Helen Novak; her husband Mitchell Dean McVicker; her brothers, Dennis Novak and Francis Novak (Shorty); and her brother-in-law George McVicker.
She is survived by: her children, Greg McVicker (Cindy) of Lincoln, NE, Gail Wisnieski (Joe) of Olathe, KS, Dan McVicker (Benita) of Bellevue, NE, Dave McVicker (Tereana Kerr) and Kelly McVicker of Des Moines, IA; her grandchildren, Adam Wisnieski (Hayley), Sarah Zach (Jonathan), Mitchell McVicker (Kimberly), Katie Norton (Cody), Katie Kruse (Justine) and Graham McVicker (Ariana); her great grandchildren, Emma Wisnieski, Sylvia Zach, Connell McVicker, Eleanor Norton, Juliet Norton, Dorothy Norton, Adelaide Norton, Charlette Norton, Rosalind Norton, Nathaniel Norton, Henry Norton, Robyn McVicker and Magnolia McVicker; her sister Leona Torrens (Lyle); and her siblings-in-law, Doug McVicker (Wendee), Pat Schwan (Larry) and Mary Jo McVicker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Avery Presbyterian Church (1910 Avery Rd E, Bellevue, NE 68005). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
