He was predeceased by : his son Brian; his parents, Harold Malmberg and Hazel Malmberg; and his siblings, Shirley, Ronnie, Roger, Dave, Stephen and Paul.

He is survived by : his children, Kristy Stensaas (Erik), Jason Malmberg (Amber), Jaimie Cameron (Mike) and Bridget Franklin (Dontae); his grandchildren, Brayden, Emma Stensaas, Tristan, Logan, Landon, Elijah, Jakob, Charlie Cameron, Asia and Alyssa Franklin; and his brother Glen Malmberg (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials should be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
