He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis H. Croston and Hazel A. Croston (Surber); and his wife Judy. He is survived by : his children, Craig (Maria), Scott (Theresa) and Beth; his brother Craig (Mary); his grandchildren, Ryan, Isabella Croston, Alexander (Gabriela) and Jacob Croston; and his great grandchild Adeline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church (2311 Fairview Rd, Bellevue, NE 68123).
