It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Evener of Bellevue, Nebraska, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Prauner and Florence Prauner; her husband Clarence "Nile" Evener; her daughter Julie Spurgin; and her sister Mary Lee Nichols.

She is survived by : her daughter Laurie Stein; her grandchildren, Miranda Schmezle, Andrew Neal (Makala) and Ashley Neal; her great grandchildren, Jonathon Neal, Bella, Jessa Neal, Elijah and Castiel; her sister Lola Brockman (Tom); and her brother-in-law Jack Nichols. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church (2311 Fairview Rd, Bellevue, NE 68123).
