He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Abla and Nina Lee Abla (Roles); his brother Clifford Leon Abla; and his spouse Dorthey "Tooter" Marie Hardy. He is survived by: his children, Linda Michelle of Bellevue, Nebraska, Gary Neil and Kimberly Childree (Abla); and his children-in-law, Richard Childree of Bellevue, Nebraska and Susan Abla (Johns). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the People's Co-Operative Funeral Home (1400 W. Main Lone Wolf, OK 73655). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church- Erick Erick (112 E 23rd Ave, Bellevue, NE 68005).
