It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell Cooley in Bellevue, Nebraska, born in Sandersville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara Smith Cooley; his daughter Deborah Cooley; his parents, Buford Cooley and Mattie Cooley; and his siblings, Wilford Cooley and Wilvaree Harper.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Brant Hill (Aimee) of Bellevue and Blake Thompson (Deidre) of Kalispell, Montana; and his siblings, Darrell Cooley (Jackie) and Barbara Sistrunk (Frank). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
