He was predeceased by: his parents, Dracos Burke and Carrie Burke; his brother Alan Burke; his sister-in-law Linda Plough; his granddaughter Harper Gemberling; and his nephew William Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; and his children, Lisa Phillips (Corey), Patrick Burke (Annie), Sherri Roenfeldt (Clint), Kathi Buchholz and Traci Gemberling (Kurt). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Chapel (2202 Hancock St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's of Bellevue Catholic Church (2302 S Crawford St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
