He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Mehrens and Eleanor Mehrens; his former wives, Carol Sue Hazlip and Barbara Jean Neumann; and his sisters, Melody Tyree and Molly Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Patrica Mehrens; his siblings, Marti Addleman, John Mehrens (Jane), David Mehrens (Cathy), Debra Harlan (Craig) and Phil Mehrens (Jody); his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Skidmore (Joel) and Chuck Johnston; his children, Lenore Shrum (Tim), Lisa Young (Phil), Leslie Smith (Steve), Russell Kempt (Phyllis), Lydia Rhodes (Mike), Toni Cornelison and Tina Schram (Paul); his grandchildren, Anna Dixon (Michael), Luke Fraizer (Melissa), Kelsey Guerrero Fraizer (Fernando), Aiden Shrum, Rachael Jackson (Stephen), Rebecca Smith, Makena Cornelison Sanders (Cole), Sara Schram, Josh Cornelison and Luke Schram; and his great grandchildren, Weston Cornelison, Teo Guerrero Fraizer, Cali Guerrero Fraizer and Malakai Sanders.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Christian Church (10100 Cedar Island Rd, Bellevue, NE 68123).
