It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon A. Boyd (Bellevue, Nebraska), who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sharon departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sharon leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Benak and Josephine Benak; and her parents-in-law, Raymond and Ailean Boyd. She is survived by: her husband Raymond "Butch"; her sons, Paul Boyd (Melissa) and Tony Boyd (Chelsea); her grandchildren, Raymond, Nolan and Luca Boyd; and her brother Lester Benak (Cheryl).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Bellevue Memorial (2202 Hancock St, Bellevue, NE 68005). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
