He is survived by: his parents, Linda M. Hatch and Ronald L. Hatch; his children, Michael (Tori), Brittany (Christopher), Thayne Smith (Kate) and Derek Smith; his grandchildren, Brynleigh Hatch, Caaliya Mitchell and Sal Morrison-Smith; and his brothers, Shane, Christopher (Sara) and Chad (Karie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Butler Volland Funeral Home (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Butler Volland Chapel (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
