Joan Bittinger Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhart "Roy" Heiden and Elma Heiden (Nierman); her husband Charles "Bud" Bittinger; her brother Lowell; and her grandson Travis.

She is survived by: her children, Calvin Bittinger (Teresa) of Stillwater, OK, Clay Bittinger (Jackie) of Henderson, NE, Cheryl Wiemer (Mike) of Lincoln, NE, Carolyn Sue Simmons (Joe) of Orange, TX and Steve Bittinger (Lynn) of Houston, TX.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Relay for Life.
