It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Sellens of Benedict, Nebraska, born in Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Sellens and Paul Sellens; his son Preston Logan Sellens; and his stepdaughter Angela Peterson. He is survived by: his caregiver Dorla Sellens of Benedict; his daughter Colleen Summers (Brandon) of Gering; his stepson Roger Peterson (Diana) of Papillion; his daughter-in-law Kristen Sellens of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Hailey, Damien, Logan, Skylar Summers of Gering and Kaleb Sellens of Lincoln; his sister Shirley Day (Tom) of Marietta, GA.; his mother-in-law Verna Leonard of York; his siblings-in-law, Robert Leonard (Diane) of Cullison, KS. and Verna Dee Cook (Rick) of Sutherlin, OR.; his father-in-law Paul Leonard; and his brother-in-law Loren Leonard (Bud).
