She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sterup and Anna Mathilda Sterup (Fredrickson); her husband Donald Lee Peterson; her son Jay D. Peterson; her brother Armond Dale; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Lou Sterup, Ralph E. Peterson, Wendell and Dorothy Appleton.
She is survived by: her sons, John E. Peterson of Fredericksburg, VA and Lee D. Peterson (Michel) of Benedict; her daughter-in-law Jacki Peterson of Marquette; her grandchildren, Eric Peterson, Clint Peterson (Kerry) of York, Martina Niemeyer (Todd) of Papillion, Clay Peterson (Morgan) of Stromsburg, Jared Peterson (Heidi) of Gretna and Dr. Connor Peterson (Taylor Regan) of Benedict; and her great grandchildren, Kaylie Smith, Declan, Dax Peterson, Audriana, Evan, Lillian, Brielle Niemeyer, Kyndal and Presley Peterson.
