He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Els and Alice Els (Steiner); and his sons, Richard and Dennis. He is survived by : his wife Leah Richard; his daughter Judy Lutz (Joe); his brothers, Herbert Els and Ivan Els (Bert); and his sister-in-law Alice Baney. He is also survived by grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
