It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Joyce Crandon in Benkelman, Nebraska, born in Parks, Nebraska, who passed away on May 23, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Ellis and Reba Ellis (Smith); her husband Jack Crandon; her close friend Dick Davis; and her siblings, Wilma Baur, Lilly Alt, Darlene Korf, Hayden Ellis, Josephine Buettgenbach, John Ellis, Genevieve Haines, June Schmidt, Tom Ellis and Ruth Ellis.

She is survived by: her sons, Monty Crandon (Kim Wagner) of Tucson, AZ and Jeff Crandon (Shaunie) of Lincoln, NE; her sister Pat Brahm of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Angie Blankley, Tyler Crandon, Nicolette Wagner and Ashley Wagner; and her great grandchildren, Jack Blankley and Shelby Blankley.
