She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tierney and Helen Tierney; her son Shane Stender; and her parents-in-law, Charlie and Verna Boyer.

She is survived by: her significant other Denny Boyer; her children, Rebecca Haggart (Scott), Jamie Stender (Heather), Naomi Chollar (Matt) and Brandon Boyer (Shannon); her grandchildren, Miranda, Madison, Toby, Collin, Macrae and Kimber; her great grandchild Jax Fitzsimmons; her siblings, Michael Tierney (Elizabeth), Timothy Tierney (Denise), Patty Edleston and Sharon Weagel (Donnie); her close friend Liz Stender; and her siblings-in-law, Garry Boyer (Michelle) and Dianne Frazier (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
