She was predeceased by: her parents, Durward Lee "D. L." and Edith Sidebottom. She is survived by: her husband Denny of Sportsman's Bar; her son Mike Laaker; her siblings, Bud Sidebottom and Ethel Satthoff; her siblings-in-law, Ray Satterfield, Paul Satthoff, Margaret Sidebottom and Dianne Leehy; her niece Marcia Sidebottom; her parents-in-law, Leonard and Rosie Laaker; her sister Edith Satterfield of Blair, Nebraska; and her brother-in-law Larry Leehy (Sheila) of Fairview, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Arlington VFW (218 W Eagle St, Arlington, NE 68002).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bennington Community Foundation.
