He was predeceased by : his siblings, Shirley Blue (Curtis) and Stanley Blincow; and his sister-in-law Lila Snyder. He is survived by : his wife Helen Blincow of Bertrand; his children, Angela York (Richard) of Lincoln, Nebraska and James A. Blincow (Shannon) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Ian (Alisha), Erica and Noah York; his children, Branden, Jared (Jylissa), Cristian and Lauryn Blincow; his great grandchild Sean York; his grandchildren, Damon Blincow and Clayton Griffith; his siblings, Gloria Borgman (Ronald) of South Dakota and Anthony Ballain of Holdrege; and his siblings-in-law, Velma Loose of Holdrege, Susan Blincow of Hastings and James Snyder of Arizona. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949).

A memorial has been established in James' honor and is kindly suggested to the family for a future designation.
