He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Hart; his wife Peggy Fassler; his grandchildren, Luke Olson, Jacob Olson, Ryan Coats and Kelsey Coats; his great grandchildren, Sharon, Skylar Coats and Ella Olson; his stepdaughters, Gayla Kinney and Kelli Schnase (Kody); his stepgrandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Timothy, Nathan Tippin, Colton Schnase, Breanna Schnase, Emma Trotter, Abby Kinney and Ashley Kinney; his sisters, Mary (Alan Kuhnke) and Pam (Jim Chelbek); and his aunts and uncles, Dale, Lois Schmidt, Roger, Pat Faber, Richard, Mona Fassler, Nancy and Arlen Kumke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the East Lawn Cemetery (829Y Road S, Bladen, NE 68928).
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
