She was predeceased by : her siblings, Norman Misfeldt, Marjorie Grenier, Henrietta McCandless and Rusty-Ivan Misfeldt; her husband Bill Byers (Bill); her daughters, Teresa Byers and Suzanne Byers; her daughter-in-law Patricia Byers; and her grandson-in-law Eric Sauser.

She is survived by : her son Michael Byers (Diane) of Kennard, NE.; her grandchildren, Heather Campbell (Craig) of Sneads Ferry, NC, Angela Hilgendorf (Daniel) of Weisbaden, Ger, Amber Byers of Arlington, NE, Crystal Sauser of Omaha, NE, Megan Byers (Cory) of Colorado Springs, CO, Brad Carson (Christie) of Blair, NE and Tracey Roach (Donavan) of Blair, NE; her siblings, Melvin-Red Misfeldt (Anita) of Arlington, NE, Genene Quick of Casper, WY and Marylou Jessen (John) of Rock Springs, WY; and her brother-in-law Allan Byers (Ellen) of St. Charles, MO.. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue or Grace United Methodist Church.
