With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Barber of Blair, Nebraska, born in Ord, Nebraska, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Douglas Barber to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parent Lynn Clair; his siblings, Greg Barber and Sandy Larkin (Jim); and also, William and Darlene Waters.

He is survived by : his mother Betty Barber (Thompson) of Lincoln; his wife Patricia Waters; his children, Betsy O'Malley (Andrew) of Hillsborough, N. H., Conrad Barber (Stephanie) of Omaha and Daniel Barber of Blair; his grandson Marlow of Omaha; his brothers, Brad Barber (Pat) of Lincoln and Jeff Barber (Monica) of Lincoln; his sister-in-law Ada Barber of Kansas City; and also, Kathy LaFeber (Roger) of Pardeeville, Wis, Mike Waters (Charlotte) of Hastings, Jim Waters (Sandy) of Kansas City and Barbara Waters of Grand Island. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Crane Trust in Wood River, the Washington County Food Pantry in Blair, or Christ Lutheran Church.
