She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward B. Crain, and Helen B. Crain, Jr. (Pruitt). She is survived by: her husband Randall Kumm of Blair, NE; her son Daryl (Ann Kumm); her grandchildren, Liam, Aiden, Wesley and Dustin; her great grandchild Bryan; her granddaughter Katie Kumm of Omaha, NE; her great grandchildren, Josephine, Bethany and Anthina; her daughter Sarah Joo Kumm of Blair, NE; and her brother Edward B. (Pearl Crain III).

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Assure in care of the family.

“Hello Randy and family, I am so sorry for your loss of Evy. To me, she was a gracious woman when I stopped by your house a few years ago. She kept an inviting home. She was interested in keeping up her gardens, and I hope you can keep them going as you travel onward. One day, you will also be with her again in heaven. As of now, she is having time with your Mom and Dad, and I'm sure other relatives of her family. I did attempt to get down to Omaha by bus but my girls were not in favor.”
