He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bruyn; his daughters, Amy Bak of Hinton, IA and Wendy Rand (Bobby) of Blair, NE; his grandchildren, Kinsey Schiebout (Matt), Keegan Bak (Trista), Kade Bak (Corinnia "Sally"), Alexandra Sexton (Quin) and Gabe Rand; his great grandchildren, Gentry, Colter, Tyson, Kase, Nora, Chloe, Theo, Elsie and Elciana; his sister Carol Frerk (Bill) of Primghar, IA; and his foster daughter Jeni Lofgren-Bauler (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
