James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Foley and Alma Foley (Johnson); his wife Connie French; and his siblings, Margaret Wilkinson (Charles), Dorothy Van Giesen (Willis), Janet O'Hanlon (Robert), Robert (Phyllis), John (Joan) and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Foley (Kristin) of Waco, NE, Mary Johnson (Wayne) of Ankeny, IA, Jim Foley (Chris) of Blair, NE, Bill Foley of Omaha, NE and Linda Meissner (Mark) of St. Charles, MO.. He is also survived by his 12 grandkids and 11 (soon to be 12) great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home (444 S 17th St, Blair, NE 68008). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Saint Francis Borgia Catholic Church (2005 Davis Dr, Blair, NE 68008).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Siena Francis House in Omaha or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
