She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Henry Lorenz and Hulda Lorenz (Smedstad); her husband Charles Shogren (Chuck); her children, Eric (Dotti) of Aiken, SC, Amy Miner of Des Moines, IA and Craig (Kate) of Herman, NE.; and her grandchildren, Elsie (Dave), Ethan (Ellie), Fiona and Freya.
