He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence LeRoy and Maybelle Euteve Scott; and his siblings, Jimmy, Bob, Jake, Carl, Lilly Mae Lund, Sandra Kay Weidt, Linda Sue Metzler and Blair.

He is survived by : his former life partner Berniece Guy; his wife Mary Genoways; his children, Clinton Scott (Eva), Mike Scott (Deb), Rick Scott (Connie) and Brenda Christoffersen (John); his grandchildren, Jennifer Bryce (Jay), Mona Dababneh (Ramsey), Heather Kelberlau (Aaron), Raymond Scott, Jill Ryan (Matt), Jesse Nownes, Tony Scott, Steven Scott (Megan), Daniel Scott, Colton Christoffersen and Cailyn Shald (Brett); his siblings, Sharen Haynes, Joseph Scott (Connie), Cecil Scott (Elsie), Gregory Scott (Nancy) and Rex Scott; his siblings-in-law, David Genoways, Douglas Genoways, Cathy Genoways and Phoebe Zeigler; and his niece Izabella Genoways. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
