With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Ann Lewis of Bridgeport, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 53. In the vast expanse of eternity, Maria Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maria Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Sanchez and Rosario Sanchez (Avila); and her grandparents, Anita Hernandez and Joe Sanchez. She is survived by: her sons, Brennan J. Lewis and Colby B. Lewis of Rapid City; her sisters, Deanna Berglund of Lead and Caroline Sanchez of Bridgeport; her nephew Blaze Berglund; and her nieces, Delanie Berglund, Selene Dillon, Avery Dillon and Sophia Sanchez.
