He is survived by: his wife Linda Leas of Bridgeport; his son Brad; his daughter-in-law Cindy Hayden of Gering; his grandson Hunter Hayden (Caragan) of Bancroft, Nebraska; and his siblings, Lavern Hayden, Jr. (Jody) of Tucson, AZ and Johnadene Winkleman of Dalton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bridgeport Memorial Chapel (718 M St, Bridgeport, NE 69336). A reception was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
