He is survived by: his wife Marlys Hansen; his children, Phil Hansen (Anne) of Longmont, CO, Chris McNurlin (Joe) of Gurley, NE, Todd Hansen of Broadwater, NE and Marcy Spooner (Mike) of Glendale, AZ.; his grandchildren, Laura Narjes (Ryan), Erin Allen (Mason), Amber Horn (Nathan), Kyle Hansen, Melanie Hansen and Nicholas Spooner (Jealynn); his great grandchildren, Weston, Leanna Narjes, Aleah, Emilia Allen, Finnegan, Percy Horn and Peyton Spooner; his sister Thelma Smith (Dave) of Lone Tree, Iowa.; and his nieces, Mary Mull, Betsy Mangel and Diane Hansen.
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Broadwater Fire Department, Hospice of the Plains or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
