She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorrel Smith and Florence Smith (Woodrow); her husband Dean Cruikshank; her daughter Ardith Cruikshank; her grandson Darin Vandersteen (Cashia); her sister Deloris; and her brother-in-law George Stukenholtz.

She is survived by: her daughter Cindie Breeze of Winter Haven, FL; her grandson Paul Vandersteen (Lorena); her great grandchildren, Jacob and Emily Vandersteen; her niece Deanna Haverty of Papillion, NE; her nephew Greg Stukenholtz (Barb) of Nebr; her son-in-law Bill Breeze; and her nephew Patrick Haverty.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Lafayette Cemetery near Brock, NE.
