With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Salazar of Broken Bow, Nebraska, born in Wheatland, Wyoming, who passed away on November 19, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Placido Jesus "Jess" and Jennie Salazar (Otero); his siblings, Connie Velasquez, Julia Salazar and Rhuben Salazar; and his siblings-in-law, Bridgett Salazar and Bryce Fernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Salazar; his children, Mandy Holland (Andy) and Kea Salazar; his grandchildren, Tatum and Qwintin Holland; his siblings, Joe Salazar, Larry Salazar (Melissa), Teresa Garcia (Blake Smith), Rose Salazar, Bert Salazar, Elsie Salazar, Mary Fernandez and Margie Katle; and his sister-in-law Debbie Salazar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow.
Memorials are suggested to the Family or Valley County Hospice.
