She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bunt" Mattox and Virginia Mattox (Apperson); her siblings, Max Mattox (Donna Brown), Donald Mattox (Luella Rhoades) and Faith Harrold (Orville); and her nieces and nephews, Connie Anderson, Debbie Mattox, Russell Mattox and Rodney Mattox.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dale Mattox (Bev Burnett) of New Castle, WY, Jospeh Mattox (Neva Nelson) of Broken Bow and Carolyn Miles (Roger) of Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Quality Senior Village for handicap ramp improvements.
