He is survived by: his wife Irene Storms; his children, Brenda Motis (Mike), Justin Storms (Jeana), Candace Nichols (Craig) and Rachel Schmidt (David); his grandchildren, Thane Motis (Megan), Caroline Motis, Gatlin Motis, Travien Motis, Parker Storms (Hanna), Hesston Swisher, Taylor Shaw, Karsyn Shaw, Devin Nichols (Ali), Daphney Nichols, Hannah Nichols, Brittany Nichols, Chad Schmidt (Emily), Caslynn Schmidt, Cole Schmidt and Connor Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Emmarie Motis, Lynden Motis, Sterling Motis, Landry Ward, Bennett Storms, Kinsley Storms, Waylon Swisher, Isabella Nichols, Daniel Nichols and Joanna Nichols; his brothers, John Storms (Kathy) and Kendall Storms (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, June Hulinsky, Dixie Weber (Bill), Joann Fairbairn (Howard), Marilyn Storms, Kyle Shippy, Harry Landaw, Lois Studnicka (Evelyn Landaw), Bob Studnicka, Wyland Worden, Rex Pinkney and Vince Hulinsky.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
