He is survived by: his sister Julie Marie Boyce (Schlund) of Horseshoe Bay, TX; his children, Gretchen Lee Gilmore (Schlund) of Caledonia, IL and Zachariah Jeffery Schlund of Rockford, IL; his grandchildren, Brianne Renee Gilmore and Emmett Jay Schlund; and his niece Jennifer Leigh Boyce of Traverse City, MI..
A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary & Crematory (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
