He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira Harmon and Margaret Harmon (Linder); his wife Lillian May Leverington; his son Thomas Eugene; and his brothers, Harold Harmon and Cloyd D. Harmon (Pete).

He is survived by : his children, Anna (Scott Feddersen), Margaret Harmon (Tammy Alexander) of Broken Bow and John Harmon of Broken Bow; his grandchildren, Rachel Stahly (Sean), Jason Feddersen, Rebekah Feddersen, Haley McLaughlin (Michael), Skylar Alexander and Paige Alexander; and his great grandchild Easton McLaughlin.
