He was predeceased by : his parents, Isaac Mason and Ada Mason (Martin); his son Dennis; and his siblings, Gene and Deloris.

He is survived by : his wife Marjorie Mason of Broken Bow; his sons, Brett Mason (Lisa) of Bertrand and Terry Mason of Callaway; his grandson Bryce Mason (Storm); his great grandchild Stella of Kearney; his granddaughter Allison Mason (Cole Gibbins); and his siblings, Milrae Dittmar (Darl) of Oconto, Isla Royle (Dwight) of Amherst and Keith Mason (Cherilyn) of Litchfield.
