With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daryl A. Brown of Brule, Nebraska, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Philip A. Brown and Pauline M. Brown (Ross); his in-laws, Ralph and Edna Latham; and his brother-in-law William E. Anderson (Nellie).

He is survived by : his wife Jo Brown of Brule; his children, Adam Brown (Amanda Gilmore) of Windsor, CO, Ashlie Brown (Cody Butt) of Denver, CO and Trent Brown (Shannon) of Lincoln, NE; his sister Patricia Welsh (Clifford); and his brother-in-law Dennis Latham. He is also survived by two nephews and three nieces, along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home (602 N Spruce St, Ogallala, NE 69153). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (417 E 3rd St, Ogallala, NE 69153). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Brule Lions Club, Brule Fire Department, or the Lewy Body Dementia Association in memory of Daryl.
